🇪🇺 Erasmus+ KA1 · Job Shadowing

Our First Erasmus+ Project

The 1st Junior High School of Kallipoli participates for the first time in an Erasmus+ mobility programme, opening new horizons for learning and professional development.

As a school deeply rooted in the community of Piraeus, we believe that education extends beyond national borders. Through our participation in Erasmus+ KA121-SCH (Job Shadowing), we aspire to bring new ideas, practices, and methodologies from schools across Europe into our classrooms.

Our first project, "Promoting Intercultural Education through European Cooperation", focuses on the exchange of experiences with partner schools, observing how innovation and cultural diversity are integrated into everyday school life.

Learn More

Erasmus+ is the European Union's programme for supporting education, training, and lifelong learning across Europe. It provides opportunities for teachers and school staff to visit partner institutions in other countries, exchange best practices, and enrich their teaching.

Job Shadowing enables teachers to:

  • Observe lessons at partner schools abroad
  • Follow colleagues during their daily work
  • Learn how cultural diversity is addressed in real classroom settings
  • Exchange teaching strategies and educational resources
  • Build professional networks at a European level

We collaborate with schools in European countries that face similar challenges. Our partners share the same dedication to creating an open, inclusive school environment. Through this collaboration, we develop joint activities and build lasting bridges of communication.

  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods
  • Improved approaches inspired by European best practices
  • Enhanced foreign language and digital skills
  • Stronger awareness of European values and interculturalism
  • Creation of professional networks at a European level
  • A more open and culturally inclusive classroom
  • Exposure to European educational tools and methods
  • Development of critical thinking through intercultural activities
  • Strengthened European identity and openness to the world
  • Opportunity to participate in future student exchanges
